[Canon] Gunmetal Hound (part 1)

As a reader, I love it when side-characters get their own story. As a player, I love it when my own character gets their own story. 8)

The Tres side-story, known as Gunmetal Hound, has three parts thus far: the Prologue, Side Red: Hellhound Blues, and Side Scarlet: I Wanna Be Your Dog. I'm fairly sure it's done, but here's hoping for more. ♥ It shows Tres 5 years after he joined AX and gives insight as to how and why that happened.

The Prologue is 8 pages long, and can be found scanlated in my album over here.

Sadly, the other two chapters of GH haven't been scanlated yet, but an awesome person over at the TB community did the translation for Side Red: Hellhound Blues. I've up'd the pics here and there's a translation under the cut for everyone to enjoy!

Name: Tres Iqus (also HC-IIIX and codename Gunslinger)
Age: Created 3036 AD so it puts him around 27-28
Hair: Reddish-brown
Eyes: M-mechanical? Dark, at the very least, but they glow red sometimes
Height: Assuming Abel is 6'2" and Tres comes up to just past his shoulder I'm going with 5'8"
Weight: 200kg (~440 lbs)
Bloodtype: OIL \o/

Medical info: ...uh. MACHINE HERE. Canon is vague, but Tres seems to have some human body parts hinting at a brain stem if not more. In the Gunmetal Hound side story, it's said that Tres is an artificial human created when his DNA was edited after insemination. EITHER WAY he has wires and guns inside him and feels no pain. He even shoots his own arm off if it gets in the way.

Physical Traits: Looks like a regular human, kind of on the lean side. SHORT AND HEAVY stop calling me teeny tiny, Father Nightroad. Has quick reactions times and can move hella fast. Doesn't need sleep or food ~~just an occasional plug outlet~~. Has really super-sensitive sensors so that he can detect movement from a great deal away or hear anyone approaching. Is usually dressed in his priest outfit unless Abel dresses him up, s-sigh.

What's Okay to Mention: ANYTHING! \o/ Tres is a damn brick and logs everything in his processor to bring it up at a moment's notice. The more you talk to him, the more he knows. >D

Notes For the Psychics: Normal as far as the psychic part goes. Can't see ghosts in canon, anyway. While he comes across as cold, he's actually kind and somewhat friendly when he's not... shooting your face off. Uh. Also, unless psychics can read machine's mind, I'm not sure they'd get much off of him.

Abilities: Can kill joo inna face with a gun in .26 seconds. Is a wiz with pretty much any type of machinery or computer. l33t hacker and programming skillz via cables from his neck or other such places. Can think of tactics for nearly any situation and all possible solutions and outcomes. Also is INSANELY strong since, y'know, machine.

Shapeshift/bodyswap/etc.: Ask me first and I'll probably say okay!

Hugging/Kissing/Nicknaming: zomg yes plz

Fighting: ...lolz YES. If he deems it necessary to take someone out, there's little stopping him. Mostly hawt gun akshun but he can probably do a little hand to hand. Talk to me first about any kind of big fight!

Maiming/Killing/Death: Y-yes, he maims himself at the drop of a hat so go right ahead. |Db Though killing him might make some Crusniks v. unhappy...

Canon: Vampires and robots and priests, oh my! There's certainly no shortage of variety in thirtieth century Earth. In the aftermath of what is known as the Armageddon, the world is divided into two races that are constantly at odds with each other: the Methuselah and the Terrans, or vampires and humans. In order to keep the peace, the Roman Catholic Church has organized a special forces unit known as AX Division to carry out special missions for the Vatican as well as protect the innocent, be they human or vampire or otherwise.

One such member of this organization is Enforcement Officer Tres Iqus, code name "Gunslinger." Even if each AX operative is a special and unique snowflake, Tres is truly different as he is not a human but a machine. With impressive specs of enhanced sensors, insanely quick processors and reaction times, and able to leap small buildings in a single bound, no one would want to be caught in sight of Tres' guns. Giving no mercy to the sinner, Tres is emotionless, precise, factual to a fault, and can be . . . somewhat difficult to work with. But he can also be kind. Being a robot, it's hard to think of someone like Tres having a personality yet Tres displays instances of emotions and understanding. In such a colorful world full of shifting politics, Tres sees everything in black and white while also acknowledging that there is a gray area in-between that is open for interpretation.

AX field operative Gunslinger reporting in. I successfully entered the encampment 78.2 seconds ago with the use of the Lambda Unit Borehole Enzyme. The L.U.B.E. was very effective in penetration of the barrier. However, I was hampered in my initial attempts of transmission as the local plant life is particularly active. My supposition is that the vines are affected due to the toxins in the lake water. Requesting replacement of uniform pants upon return to Rome. As I have terminated the vegetal obstacle, I can now proceed in carrying out covert infiltration operations.

Along with oppression, there is an astounding lack of health and welfare. Viruses are rampant and injuries are the norm. Indeed, the closest moving object detected is severely malnourished and in need of immediate medical treatment. Although the color is optimum for camouflage, a skin condition that severe is not conducive for prolonged existence. Possibility of detected entity being a Methuselah is considerable. However, there is no record of any creature, vampire or otherwise, able to hold its own cranium in its arms without fatal repercussions, let alone continued ability to communicate. Attempting now to overhear.
